so anyways it was meeting night to night and like always i had to go i showed up late of course so i can miss the first song.

i wasn't wearing a jacket of course so i stood out like a sore thumb.

there seems to be a variety of defintions on the net so what does "soul mate" mean?.

Personally.....The MOST peaceful way I can attest too is the mutual respect route. If you start your fade....you will meet resistance. BUT NEVER retaliate. respect your mates decision to stay active, and do not voice your intention to become inactive. let it happen over time,and once it's done ....DO NOT pick on "the truth" to your spouse.....let her have her opiate......when, and if they are ready...they will follow your example.....if not....you've given the respect you expect from your decision to your spouse. without belittling either them, or the BORG. Is that not all that you ask for yourself? Don't forget LOVE. Let all those justified chips on your shoulder be solely with those responsible....not your spouse. alot if not most of the people on this site have many gripes about "the truth".....and THIS is the place to voice them......DO NOT turn on your spouse. RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT. The future will set you free. That is unless the BORG keeps changing stuff so that the end will never come....at which point....hey, at least you did it your way right?

1) raise taxes, and not just capital gains.

income taxes will be raised as well.

and if you make more than $200k/yr, you are "rich", and defined as such you will get soaked; thus, you will have little incentive to keep earning what you do now,--the opportunity to make a nice profit will simply not be there....and all of us working stiffs fortunate enough to make over $50 k/ yr, you better hold on to your wallets as well... we are going to pay for the social security bailout.

We should have NEVER been in the middle east.....what do you think all your taxes are paying for RIGHT NOW? Workers need a boost.... I must say I would prefer a FLAT TAX with minimal paperwork....mostly on purchased goods....that way EVERYONE PAYS!!!! Rich, and illegal! I think you are a large bizz owner who has a lot ta lose to a pres. that wants to level the playing field, and take out the special interest groups who are profiting from the war, gas, health care hmo's, and a very low minimum wage........ bastard comes to mind..... or republican...either one.

last night i had an interesting talk with my wife in bed.. oprah had a show on recently about gays.

now i don't normally watch oprah, but she was watching a taped one in the evening, so i was just overhearing stuff.

anyway, i think my wife puts more faith in oprah than in the gb :).

Well.......not ALL wits are stoked about the bookstudy change.....in fact my active wife was quite bummed about that change......She really appreciated the closeness of meeting in a friends home, and often felt more relaxed about being candid in her comments. Which in my opinion....is THE MAIN reason for that change. NOW....ALL meetings are at the hall.............. Where has the freedom of expression gone?.....out the window! Oprah's an idiot...and just as easy to follow as the BORG.....maybe it's time to draw conclusions for yourselves instead of letting popular opinion draw them for you. just my two cents....which is about all it's worth.

it's truly exciting to see all of the "rapid fire" changes taking place in the watchtower org.

buildings are being sold, kingdomhalls are "compressing", bethelites are being sent home, watchtower format changing to public issues and private issues, more and more judicial committee meetings being held for apostasy.

(the watchtower is dead it just hasn't fallen over yet!

Well......... First off I agree that the BORG are falling.....but to say that people need any belief in 'God' is just another ploy to control action. With the fall of the 'Truth'....So goes the fall of ALL religion. If God were real....He'd make all this crap a whole lot easier to cipher through. it's not a mystery...It's a JOKE. Meanwhile the same people responsible for creating this mass opiate (not just the BORG...but all organizations) are duping us all out of our freedom....money....and happiness. leave ALL religion. i don't have the answers...but I can tell you this.... ....
